She began her career as a minor actress, and became internationally famous in 2003 and entered the list of female celebrity world, after playing a major role in the film Bend It Like Beckham, Love Actually and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Since then, Knightley has become the main star of women who have played in several Hollywood films. In 2005 he received the title of Best Actress nomination in the Academy Award for Pride & Prejudice.
