83rd Academy Award : 65 Countries Compete Awarded Best Foreign Film

Organisers had to close registration of foreign films to follow the Academy Awards event. 65 countries were ready to compete for the award-winning Best Foreign Language Film.

As reported by the official website of the Academy Awards on Thursday (14/10/2010), ‘Alangkah Lucunya Negeri Ini’ represent Indonesia in that arena. Deddy Mizwar movie filmed that will compete with 64 other films to receive nominations.

The committee will choose 5 best films of the 65 films that register. Nominations 83rd Academy Awards will be announced on January 25, 2011.

83rd Academy Awards will be held on February 27, 2011. Surely the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood event venue that became the most prestigious film awards.

At the Academy Awards before, ‘The Secret in Their Eyes’ which originated from Argentina was awarded Best Foreign Language Film. The film was air-genre thriller directed by Juan Jose Campanella.
