An antique broker jailed for eight years to accommodate and traded on the first work of Shakespeare that was stolen. Raymond Scott, 53 years old, from County Durham, was acquitted of charges of stealing valuables that but was found guilty of trading in stolen goods, in one trial in June.
Work in 1632 was taken from a display cabinet at the University of Durham in 1998. Judge Richard Lowden said the paper was “a native English speaker valuables” and said the damage to the goods was a “cultural vandalism”.

Golden Globe Awards 67th has been successfully held at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, United States, Sunday (17/01/2010). Super hit film James Cameron’s claim, ‘Avatar,’ was crowned as Best Film.
Meanwhile, ‘The Hangover’ won the award for Best Comedy. ‘UP’ success became Best Animated Film and the German film, ‘The White Ribbon’, received the award for Best Foreign Language Film.
